1. Coverage Period & Scope
- Duration: The warranty covers only the handset for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
- Location: This warranty is valid and enforceable within the Sultanate of Oman only.
- Manufacturing Defects: Coverage is strictly limited to the repair of verified manufacturing defects.
- Beyond Repair: In the event of a manufacturing defect that cannot be repaired, coverage is limited to the replacement of the handset motherboard only.
2. Required Documentation
- To claim warranty services, customers must present both the original warranty card and the purchase invoice clearly showing the date of purchase.
3. Exclusions (What is NOT Covered)
The following items and components are explicitly excluded from warranty coverage:
- Accessories: Batteries, chargers, memory cards, keypads, covers, headsets, or any similar peripheral accessories.
- Display: The device screen and touch panel (Digitizer).
- Storage Media: Hard discs do not carry any warranty.
- Software & Data: * Defects caused by software downloads, viruses, or third-party applications.
- Data Loss: The company is not responsible for the loss of any saved data (contacts, messages, images, etc.) during the servicing process. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to maintain appropriate backups.
4. Voiding the Warranty (Conditions for Cancellation)
The warranty will be considered null and void under the following circumstances:
- Unauthorized Service: If the device has been previously opened, repaired, or had software updated at any location other than authorized company service centers.
- Physical & Liquid Damage: Any signs of breakage, scratches, liquid ingress (water damage), rust, or burns.
- Environmental Factors: Damage resulting from exposure to excessive temperatures, high humidity, or power surges in the electric supply.
- Unauthorized Software: Installation of unlicensed software, including “jailbreaking” or “rooting” the device.
- Non-Approved Accessories: Any defect arising from the use of non-approved accessories or ancillary items attached to the handset.
- Misuse: Failure to follow the official manufacturer user guide.
